- 8K is 7680 × 4320 pixels — four times the pixels of 4K and sixteen times 1080p.
- True 8K streaming is rare. It needs an 8K source, an 8K TV, an HDMI 2.1 chain and around 100 Mbps.
- “Strong 8K” is a reseller brand name, not a promise that every channel is 8K.
- STRONGIPTV streams 4K where the source is 4K, and FHD/HD elsewhere. We do not sell an 8K label.
The quick answer
If you are searching for “Strong 8K IPTV”, you are probably trying to work out whether the service is legitimate, what it costs, and whether the “8K” part is real. The honest answer is that the name and the resolution are two different things.
8K is a real display resolution, and 8K TVs are real. But very little television is produced and distributed in 8K today. Most IPTV services that use “8K” in their name — including the various Strong 8K resellers — deliver 4K, FHD and HD streams. Some 8K TVs and boxes upscale those streams, which can look good, but it is not native 8K.
Bottom line: buy IPTV for the channels, stability and support. Do not pay a premium for “8K” unless the seller can show you an 8K source and you own the hardware to display it.
What real 8K requires
8K is 7680 × 4320 pixels, or about 33.2 megapixels per frame. That is four times the pixel count of 4K and sixteen times 1080p. The jump is not just a bigger number on a spec sheet; it changes every part of the chain.
| Requirement | 4K today | True 8K |
|---|---|---|
| Resolution | 3840 × 2160 | 7680 × 4320 |
| Bandwidth per stream | 15–25 Mbps | 80–100 Mbps |
| Display | 4K TV or monitor | 8K TV or monitor |
| Connection | HDMI 2.0 | HDMI 2.1 (8K60) |
| Codec | HEVC (H.265) | HEVC, AV1 or VVC at high bitrate |
| Content | Wide: films, sport, streaming | Very limited: demos, trials, a few broadcasts |
The content gap is the real blocker. Broadcasters need 8K cameras, 8K production trucks, 8K encoding and a distribution path that can carry four times the data of 4K. A handful of sporting events and documentaries have been produced in 8K, but there is no 50,000-channel 8K ecosystem. Anyone claiming otherwise is using the number as marketing.
There is also a physics problem: at a normal viewing distance, most people cannot resolve the difference between 4K and 8K on a 65-inch screen. The benefit shows up on very large screens or when you sit close, which is why 8K is more useful for projectors and commercial displays than for a living-room TV.
Why “Strong 8K” is confusing
“Strong 8K” is not a single company with a single website. It is a name used across a network of independent IPTV resellers, each with its own domain, pricing and support. Reddit users have noticed the same thing: threads in the Strong 8K community ask “how many versions of Strong8k are there?” and point out that a Google search returns several unrelated “Strong” and “Trex” websites.
That does not make the service fake. It means the brand name is not a guarantee of who you are buying from. Before you pay, check:
- The exact domain — including the ending. Similar names are common.
- Who answers support — a real WhatsApp number or email, not just a contact form.
- What the plan includes — channels, connections, duration and refund terms.
- Whether a trial is offered — a short trial is the cheapest way to test the streams on your own device.
If a site promises “true 8K on every channel”, ask for the source. A legitimate seller will explain which events are 4K and which are HD. A seller who cannot answer that is selling a label.
What STRONGIPTV actually streams
STRONGIPTV is an independent IPTV service with more than 50,000 live channels and 165,000 movies and series. We stream 4K where the broadcaster provides a 4K feed, and FHD or HD everywhere else. The 4K library is concentrated in premium films, documentaries and selected live sport.
We do not advertise 8K channels, because the sources are not there. If you want the best picture your 4K TV can show, the practical upgrade is a 4K-capable device, a good HDMI cable and a stable 25 Mbps connection — not an 8K badge.
| Plan | Price | Per month | Connections |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $15 | $15.00 | 1 |
| 3 months | $30 | $10.00 | 1 |
| 6 months | $49 | $8.17 | 1 |
| 12 months | $69 | $5.75 | 1 |
Extra simultaneous connections are $10.80 per month. Every plan includes the full channel and VOD library, instant activation and 24/7 support. The 24-hour trial lets you test the 4K feeds before you commit.
How to verify the resolution
The only reliable way to know what you are watching is to read the stream data, not the channel logo. Here is how:
- Open the player’s stats panel. TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro and most Android players show resolution, frame rate and bitrate during playback.
- Check the TV’s input info. Press Info or Source on the TV remote. If the input is 1920 × 1080, the box is sending HD, regardless of the channel name.
- Read the bitrate. 4K is usually 15–25 Mbps; 8K would need 80–100 Mbps. A “4K” channel at 5 Mbps is upscaled.
- Use a known test clip. Play a native 4K demo and compare the detail with the channel you suspect. The difference is obvious on text, grass and fabric.
If your TV says 3840 × 2160 but the picture looks soft, the TV is upscaling an HD source. That is normal for most live channels. It is not a fault in your box.
Is 8K worth paying for in 2026?
For almost everyone, no. The content is too limited, the bandwidth requirement is high, and the visible benefit on a normal-sized TV is small. A good 4K setup is the sweet spot: it is widely supported, uses a quarter of the bandwidth, and looks excellent on a 55–75-inch screen.
8K makes sense if you already own an 8K display, you sit close to a very large screen, and you have a 100 Mbps connection with an HDMI 2.1 chain. Even then, check that the specific event you want is produced in 8K — most are not.
If your priority is choice, price and reliability, ignore the resolution race and test the service on your own TV. That is what the free trial is for.
Frequently asked questions
“Strong 8K” is a name used by several independent IPTV resellers, and STRONGIPTV is one independent service in that market. Other domains with similar names are operated separately, so check the exact website, price and support contact before you pay.
True 8K streaming exists in laboratories and a few broadcast trials, but it is rare in consumer IPTV. Most services marketed as “8K” deliver 4K, FHD or HD streams. An 8K TV can upscale those streams, but upscaling does not create new detail.
No. STRONGIPTV works on 4K, 1080p and 720p TVs, phones, tablets and computers. An 8K TV is not required, and it will not turn a 4K stream into native 8K.
No. The box can upscale the picture to its 8K output, but the detail is limited by the source stream. If the channel sends 1080p, the box cannot recover 8K detail. A good 4K box with a stable connection is usually the better buy.
Around 80–100 Mbps of stable bandwidth for a single 8K stream, plus a router and HDMI 2.1 chain that can carry it. That is four to five times the bandwidth of a typical 4K stream.
No. We stream 4K where the broadcaster supplies a 4K feed, and FHD or HD everywhere else. We would rather be clear about that than sell an “8K” label that the source cannot support.
There is no single answer. The names are used by multiple resellers, so compare the exact website, the price, the channel list, the trial and the support response. A brand name is not a quality guarantee.
Test the channels, 4K streams and your device before you pay. Activation takes minutes.
